Food sorting and distribution

Client intake and registration

Volunteers can assist with checking in pantry clients, verifying their eligibility, and registering them for services.

Packing and delivering food boxes

Some pantries offer home delivery services or distribute food boxes to seniors or those with mobility issues. Volunteers can help pack and deliver these boxes.

Fundraising and event planning

Nonprofit churches and pantries often rely on donations and fundraising events to support their operations. Volunteers can help plan and execute fundraising events like bake sales, silent auctions, or charity runs.
